

The proposed method enables decision analysts to better understand the complete evaluation process and provide a more accurate, effective and systematic decision support. FAHP, TOPSIS, VIKOR and SAW are used as MCDM techniques in the present study.

Multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) research has developed rapidly and has become a main area of research for dealing with complex decision problems. Productivity improvement in organizations is as one of executive managers and decision makers'. Regarding to the key role of banking industry in economic, social and political development, productivity improvement on each of its branches will be an effective factor for society productivity improvement. Productivity is one of the most significant factors in an organization's general performance. The case study demonstrated that the established decision hierarchy and the utilized methods can be used for real-world problems faced in the satellite industry. Finally, TOPSIS is used to rank the alternative manufacturers. Then, AHP is used to determine the weights of the selection criteria. First, the set of selection criteria is determined and a decision hierarchy is established by the experts of the field. In this paper, we utilized two of the most commonly used multi criteria decision making methods namely Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) to select the most suitable communication satellite manufacturer. the given degree of risk, selection of a manufacturer is a challenging mission. Although there is a limited number of manufacturers able to meet technical capabilities to deliver a satellite to the on orbit position with. During this process the prospective satellite system operator acts as a purchaser and the manufacturer acts as a supplier for space segment and related earth facilities. Procurement of a new communication satellite is a lengthy and often complicated process.
